This study aims to enhance the understanding amongst relevant provider agencies and staff working with young people in education of difficulties nd potential causes of disaffection among school-age girls.This in-depth qualitative study focuses on six areas in England. It has two key perspectives – a provider focus and a service recipient focus. One goal is to enable the development of more effective support strategies for girls, including those from ethnic minority groups.
