Transport and social exclusion
We undertook a brief scoping study for London Buses, looking at how the bus system can help address social exclusion, by answering the following questions:
- What are the underlying issues of the social exclusion agenda and how do these relate to London Buses?
- What is London Buses already doing that fits with the social exclusion agenda and what are there obvious gaps?
- What are the issues for London Bus services in relation to (a) socially excluded groups (b) deprived neighbourhoods (c) fares, ticketing and pricing?
